Season’s Beatings was founded on the goal of bringing the nation’s top fighting-game talent to the Midwest. SB 2010, with 700 attendants and 130,000+ online viewers truly brought us into the new era of hype.

We started by bringing the country’s most famous Street Fighter, Justin Wong, to SB1, then SB2 saw the first Battle of the Gods of Marvel vs. Capcom 2, the most exciting tournament videogame ever made.

With the arrival of Street Fighter IV and an influx of popularity in the tournament scene, in 2009 we brought the world’s most popular player, Daigo Umehara, to Ohio to face Justin in a first-to-10 match struggle.

With hundreds of competitors, an unparelled reputation for hype — and thousands of dollars on the line — SB is a premier international fighting-game event.
