T.R.U.S.T - Japanese

This is a Japanese version of the T.R.U.S.T. writeup.  Thanks to XSPR for the assistance!

You can read the English writeup here.

Summary of EVO 2011 :)

Super Turbo @ Evolution Casino Cup Results!

The Super Turbo tournament @ Evolution 2011 is over and what a tournament it was!  An incredible roster of talent showed up for this $40 high roller tournament.  Street Fighter legends Daigo Umehara and Alex Valle both once again made an apperance like they did just two months earlier at ReveLAtions.  But EVO 2011 also had former EVO/B5 Champion, Jason Cole show up.  As well as Japanese superstars Tokido and Kuni Funada.  Two time and current SBO qualifier, Damdai.  Former SBO qualifier, kuroppi.  Long time elite veterans, NKI, Arturo Sanchez and DGV.  And long time ST and EVO veterans, Julien Beasley, Mike Creque, Chris Li and David Wright.  As well as a number of familiar and new faces giving it their all!

While Daigo took the championship, he did have some tough battles along the way there.  Julien Beasley nearly upset Daigo early on.  Damdai, like he has in recent ST tournaments, took his option-select T-Hawk all the way to the finals.  While he came up short against “The Beast”, it was a great tune up for him as he prepares to enter SBO in a few months.

Here are the results:

1st Daigo Umehara Boxer

2nd Damien “Damdai” Dailidenas O. Hawk / O. Ken

3rd Hajime “Tokido” Taniguchi Claw

4th Alex Valle Ryu

5th Bob “kuroppi” Painter E. Honda / Zangief

5th DGV Ryu

7th Jason “AfroCole” Cole Dhalsim

7th Arturo “Sabin” Sanchez Dhalsim

9th Kuni Funada Zangief

9th Julien “Zass” Beasley Dictator

9th Nicholas “NKI” Inabnit Chun Li

9th Moocus T. Hawk / Ken
